From helping students grow to helping brands shine
Before stepping fully into photography, I worked in school-based practice as an occupational therapy assistant, supporting children as they worked toward their full potential — in the classroom and beyond. That season shaped me more than I realized at the time. It taught me how to listen closely, meet people where they are, and guide them with intention and care.
Over time, business ownership and photography became the place where my purpose and passion aligned. I saw how powerful it could be to help others clearly communicate who they are and why their work matters. When my work is aligned with my purpose, it allows my clients to better align with theirs — and that’s where confidence and clarity begin.
With 13 years of experience, my approach to photography is rooted in planning and strategy, not guesswork. I think carefully about the message each image is conveying and how it makes the viewer feel. Every session is guided, intentional, and designed to support how you want to show up in the world.
Born and raised in Central Illinois — and now back here after time spent in Colorado and Southern Illinois — I’m deeply connected to this community and the people who call it home.
